Since you are relaying on the resources of graphic teams, IT, editors, marketing and overall priorities set by management it is best to follow a plan that can scale and adjust during a 6 month time schedule.

Remember, if social sharing integration that is needed to increase followers, fans and likes gets slotted into an IT plan for next quarter, you want to have other components that can be immediately implemented by your social media team. I came across this today from gaggleamp and thought I’d share. These are 5 tips that you should remember when creating your messages. The last one I find to be the one most people forget. Remember that new users are following or liking your pages every day and they most likely have not seen what you’ve posted months before. Reuse that content. Of course with a little twist.

    1. Think drip campaigns.
    2. Incorporate numbered lists.
    3. Share value-add information from others.
    4. Use controversial statements.
    5. Re-use messages.
