From Page to Playback: Testing a New Format for Construction Tech Storytelling
I recently took a small leap—letting a friend and their studio reimagine one of my articles as a podcast.
The piece they worked with, The Power of a Listening Tour – A Strategy for SaaS Growth and Digital Transformation, explores how listening—not just acting—can shape smarter product decisions and deeper customer trust in the AECO and construction tech space.
Give the podcast a listen. Curious what you think—and how you see formats like this supporting your work.
This was content repurposing at its best – as a test.
A test of format (moving from text to audio).
A test of emerging AI* tools.
And a test of creative collaboration – a loacl multimedia and digital studio, led by some good friends, turning my ideas into a two-person audio overview that’s equal parts engaging and industry-relevant.
I admit there are a few rough edges – this is early-stage. But the output? Genuinely impressive.
The goal was to experiment with a more accessible format, meet audiences where they are, and explore how audio storytelling can enhance how we share insights across the built environment and AECO SaaS communities.
Have you ever had ran a similar experiment / audio vs text? How did it change your thinking?
